Spray Painting Metal Table {Porch spruce up}

I've been hard at work on my front porch. It's looked a little sad and forgotten since we moved in and not very welcoming. I made some little planters for by the front door. I also wanted to spruce up our little seating area. So much more welcoming now.

Before. It was just a spot for all our mismatched lawn furniture.

I found a little metal table at Goodwill for $5. I think it's actually a side table but I thought it would make a perfect little outdoor coffee table.

It was really dirty and had a few rusty spots. I sanded the rusty spots a little with some 200 grit sandpaper. Just enough sanding so that the silver wasn't flaking off.

Then I painted it with a couple coats of Rustoleum Night Tide spray paint in Gloss finish.

Such a fast and easy project! A new table for $5!

I spray painted the bench and wicker chair too! If you want some tips on spray painting wicker you can read my post over at Infarrantly Creative about that!

The little rug I got on clearance a few years ago and it was in my old craft room. It fits perfect there and I like the texture it adds to the space. This is now one of my favorite spots to sit and watch my kids play!
